Angola aims to establish solid trade and business relations with Argentina

Angola is ready to establish solid partnerships with a view to sustaining trade and business relations with Argentina, within the framework of bilateral cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) said on Thursday, in Luanda Province.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), to which Angop has had access, the wish was expressed during a meeting between the Angolan ambassador to Argentina, Azevedo Xavier Francisco, and a delegation from the National Assembly of this South American country, held in Buenos Aires.

The opportunity served for the Angolan Ambassador and the Argentinian parliamentarians headed by the MP Débora Indarte to analyze the state of the cooperation, in particular its increase in the field of investment attraction with an emphasis on tourism and agribusiness.

The progress made in the areas of construction, housing, macroeconomic stability and job promotion were also highlighted by the Angolan diplomat.

Angola and Argentina relations are considered good with emphasis on the collaboration in agriculture, industry, energy and infrastructure.

The political and diplomatic relations of the two countries were made official on August 27, 1985, which marked the beginning of a fluid institutional relationship with visible benefits for both countries.

In general, relations between Angola and Argentina are considered dynamic and diversified, given the 15 legal instruments, including the General Agreement for Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation.
