Angola and Dominican Republic discuss new business environment

Angolan ambassador to Cuba Maria Cândida Teixeira discussed Sunday in the Dominican Republic the scrapping of partnership requirements and the minimum amount to invest in Angola as part of reforms and new business environment for private investment in Angola.

Maria Cândida Teixeira, who is also non-resident ambassador to the Dominican Republic, presented the recent inclusion of the contractual investment regime, which allows a thorough negotiation of incentives as well as the repatriation of dividends and other operations with foreign countries.

According to a statement issued by the Embassy of Angola in Cuba reached ANGOP Monday states that at the migratory level there were significant changes in the regulatory frameworks that resulted in the improvement of the processes to obtain visas and registration of investment projects.

As part of closer relations between the two countries, the statement said, the Angolan diplomat met with officials of Foreign Affairs, Energy and Mines, the Environment and Natural Resources, Industry and Trade, Culture and educational institutions.
