The second edition of the gastronomy and culture fair will be held from Friday to Saturday (5) at the Anthropology Museum in Luanda, with the aim of promoting and giving greater visibility to the museum space.According to promoter, Nilsa Samara, the event will feature more than 20 national and international exhibitors, who will present various cuisines.She said that they expect around 600 visitors over the two days. She said that the initiative will also feature art exhibitions, guided tours of the museum, traditional dance, folk music, theatre, stand-up comedy and various games.Nilsa Samara stressed that in addition to promoting entertainment, the aim is to bring an educational component to visitors of all ages, especially children, with the aim of getting to know and rediscovering Angolan culture and tradition.'The Anthropology Museum has several artefacts that tell the story of Angola since its beginnings.We want to teach and educate children to know and develop our own characteristics', she sai d.The first edition, which took place on July 27th, was attended by 18 stallholders and around 260 visitors.Source: Angola Press News Agency
