By Stephen TADAHAA commercial bike rider has died after a falling in a gully on his way back from a farm at a place called Bakassi, situated at the foot of Mount Bamboutos in the Babadjou subdivision.The tragic incident happened in the late hours of Sunday January 21. Reports say the commercial motorcycle rider, who is about 20 of age and whose only name we got as Boris, had his bike overloaded with bags of carrots he was transporting from the farm to the market. In an attempt to cross a dangerous bridge in the area, Boris fell into the gully and was buried by the bags he was transporting.At the moment of the accident, there was no one around to rescue him. His mortal remains were only discovered later by a passerby.From CNA observations, the roads in this area are horrible but bike riders in their desire to make ends meet, alwas take huge risks overloading their motorcycles to make the most of their time and earn more in the process.Source: Cameroon News Agency
