A civilian was brutally murdered in Bamenda on Saturday night when he was returning from an outing.Valentine Ngoucho, a resident of Bamenda, was attacked along with a friend near a location known as 'Two Bridge.' The assailants believed to be armed men, set Ngoucho's motorcycle on fire and kidnapped his friend.Ngoucho was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.The attack comes amid a surge of violence in Bamenda where separatists have been fighting government forces for several years.The incident occurred around 9PM.Source: Cameroon News Agency
