Ngong's Diocese Catholic Presiding Bishop John Oballa has called on society to reject Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ), as it is contrary to the Bible and the natural law.Bishop Oballa, who spoke during an education day at St. Mary's Secondary School in Narok County, asked students to oppose anything that is contrary to God's will so that they can succeed in life.'We should reject promoting or being recruited into the LGBTQ community because it is a bad practice contrary to the will of God. Instead, students should engage in productive business to shape their careers,' he said.Further, the spiritual leader asked students to avoid peers who influence them to take drugs while in school, as it affects their health.'Reject drugs, as they are not healthy,' he said.He asked students to portray God's love, which is selfless and seeks the good of other people other than their own.'There are three types of love: we give ourselves to others as God did when he gave his only son; self-ce ntred love, which is the love that calculates what gain you get from the relationship; and pleasure-seeking love, which falls short of God's will,' he said.Source: Kenya News Agency
