Cameroon has been banned from participating in the 2024 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations. The ban comes as a result of Cameroon's failure to appeal their suspension, which was handed down on October 30, 2019.The Confederation of African Football (CAF) attributed Cameroon's non-participation to a violation of its rules and regulations governing the competition. This means Cameroon has been ruled out of the 2024 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Morocco in April this year.The national futsal team of Mauritania, also known as the 'Cridems,' are officially qualified for the tournament's final phase following Cameroon's disqualification.
