By Charity NginyuCameroonian actor Daniel Nsang has become the latest target of cyber backlash after a video of him surfaced online.The video, which has been circulating on WhatsApp groups for the past 24 hours, shows Nsang asleep with sensitive parts exposed.In the footage, Nsang can be seen resting, wearing only a tank top, unaware that he was being filmed by the person he had been allegedly intimate with. The invasion of his privacy has sparked outrage among netizens and public figures alike.Renowned communicator Kelly John Officiel expressed his dismay, stating, 'What cruelty! Why seek to tarnish someone's image to this extent? Regardless, this act against Daniel Nsang deserves condemnation. It's unbelievable. Before being a public figure, he is human, and his privacy must be respected!'Pascaline Raïssa Malla, a Facebook user condemned the act as 'cruel and senseless' as she called for strict enforcement of cybercrime laws.The incident sheds light on the persistent issue of social media misus e despite efforts by authorities to raise awareness.In past years, the National Agency for Information and Communication (ANTIC) has been actively sensitizing citizens on the proper use of social media.However, it appears that these efforts have fallen on deaf ears, as incidents of cyber harassment continue to occur.Mr Nsang has not made any statement.Source: Cameroon News Agency
