Chief Sessekou Tataw George Enow brings hope to Akwaya


Chief Sessekou Tataw George Enow, a humanitarian known as ’10/10,’ has brought hope to the people of Akwaya by organizing a successful football tournament and providing essential resources to the community.

The tournament, held from July 20th to August 20th, featured 17 teams in the male category and 15 teams in the female category. The finals saw Tava emerge victorious in both categories, winning cash prizes of 1.5 million FCFA and 500 thousand FCFA, respectively. All participating teams received fair prizes, including awards for the best players and coaches.

Beyond the tournament, Chief Enow has demonstrated his commitment to the well-being of his community through various initiatives. He has provided educational materials, including uniforms, bags, sandals, pens, and books, to students in his village. Additionally, he has renovated dilapidated schools and provided building materials for staff quarters.

Chief Enow has also focused on infrastructure development to improve accessibility within the area. H
e has provided essential tools such as wheelbarrows, spades, and axes to help clear roads, making it easier for people to navigate the challenging terrain.

Despite the difficulties faced by the Akwaya, Chief Enow remains dedicated to serving his people. He has pledged to continue his efforts to improve the lives of those in need, drawing inspiration from his own blessings and the belief that he has a responsibility to give back to his community.
