Information, Communication and Technology Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo has met the committee spearheading the Nyanza Investment Conference scheduled to take place in the lakeside city of Kisumu from June 28 - 29 2024.The conference targets to attract investors to Nyanza region and exploit ways of harnessing the resources in Nyanza region for development purposes.The meeting to be held at Ciala Resort will expose residents and the local business community on how to access capital in form of loans for business and how to form cooperatives that would help them access better business ventures.Owalo noted that the conferences' key agenda is to rally investment to the counties in Nyanza region so as to help boost trade and business in Nyanza.The conference committee is comprised of local technocrats including engineer George Mkodewa, Prof Tom Adii, Dr Leah Kasera ambassador Dr. Anyango Ochieng among others.
