The Transitional Council in charge of Professional Football in Cameroon CTFP has announced an investigation into alleged match fixing scandals in some MTN Elite Two matches.The probe will focus on the match day 14 game between Renaissance FC of Ngoumou versus Aigle of Moungo and match day 15 game pitting Foncha Street FC versus Racing of Bafoussam.The information is contained in a communique signed by the CTFP's Secretary General, Faustin Blaise Mbida after the match officials confirmed the allegations.According to the communique, the outcome of the investigations may necessitate the CTFP taking the matter to the disciplinary and ethics committee of the Cameroon Football Federation for disciplinary measures.In one of the matches under scrutiny, the Renaissance of Ngoumou versus Aigle of Moungo match, Aigle was leading 4-0 at half time but the match ended with Renaissance of Ngoumou winning by a score of 5 to 4.In the other match under investigation, Foncha Street FC versus Racing of Bafoussam match which was held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, the exact scores of the game had been circulated on social media prior to the match.Source: Cameroon News Agency
