Addis Ababa: Ambassador to Myanmar, Daba Debele has presented to Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe.Daba has been designated as Ethiopian ambassador to the Union of Myanmar with residence in Tokyo, Japan, it was learned.During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs congratulated the Ethiopian Ambassador for his appointment as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Myanmar, with residence in Tokyo.On his part, Ambassador Daba presented a copy of his letter of credence to the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs.The two sides also cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the strengthening of existing bilateral relations between Myanmar and Ethiopia.They also thoroughly discussed mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations, including trade and investment sectors, and enhancement of collaboration in the regional and international arena s.Source: Ethiopian News Agency
