A family in Homa Bay is appealing to the public to volunteer information regarding the whereabouts of their missing three-year-old child.David Odero, father to the missing child, Blessing Mary said they lost their daughter on the eve of August 3, at Kanu centre, Mawego, in Kobuya Location within Rachuonyo North Sub County.On the day of her disappearance, it is reported that the child who was in a blue dress and a white scarf was in the company of her 7-year-old sister at a certain shop in Kano centre before an unidentified man allegedly approached them asking the pair to run home to their father who apparently was not home.'The children were lied to because I was at home in Kabondo at that time and the children were in Kanu where we have a rented house,' Odero said.Since that day the younger daughter has never been seen by the family who has searched every nook and corner of Mawego area without any trace of her.The father said they approached the local authorities including the police, the area chi ef and the sub chief for help.'We reported the matter to Mawego Police Station on the same date of her disappearance and was given an OB,' he noted.The missing child who is light in complexion and can speak Swahili though inarticulately.The family is now requesting anyone with any information regarding their daughter's location to reach them through their mobile numbers, 0714207492 and 0729177429 or report to any police station around them.Source: Kenya News Agency
