Kajiado East Member of Parliament(MP) Kakuta Ole Maimai has laid the foundation stone for the construction of the first-ever day secondary school in Isinya town.According to the MP, the construction of the Isinya Township Day Secondary School is part of his vision to have a secondary school in every location in the constituency.He added that the secondary school aims to ensure 100 percent school transition for the children in Isinya and its environs.'In my leadership, no child will be left behind. I want to see every child transition to secondary school regardless of their economic background. I want to see a reduction in the cost of secondary school education from Ksh 5,000 to Ksh 3,000 per school term in day schools. With this plan 100 percent enrollment of all our children is guaranteed,' said the M.POle Maimai urged parents from Majengo and Isinya to outline areas to take advantage of the Isinya Day secondary school once complete as it will provide accessible and affordable education.Source: Kenya News Agency
