A woman allegedly killed her nine-month-old baby on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in Kribi, Ocean Division of the South region by giving the little angel a large quantity of sachet whiskey mixed with a cube of maggi.Sources report that she wanted to relieve the baby of diarrhea with the concoction which is commonly used by locals to cure diarrhea. Unfortunately, it turned cold for her.'It's true many people here mixed whiskey and maggi and consumed it as a diarrhea remedy and it worked. Her case is different, probably because it concerns a baby and it was toxic. The quantity was certainly too much for the baby,' explained a local.Her husband immediately threw her out of their matrimonial home after she admitted carrying out the act.Police officers are currently in search of her for an in-depth investigation.Source: Cameroon News Agency
