The row between FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto'o and Belgian tactician Marc Brys two months ago, has once more surfaced in conversations. This comes after the interview he granted to Belgian news platform DHNET.BE, where he reiterated his resoluteness in the affair with Eto'o. He said, as the coach of the Indomitable Lions, he will focus on his job which is to 'reconstruct' the national team, regardless of what Eto'o brings at him.'The ball is in his court. If he wants a peaceful and cordial relationship, I'm a taker. If he wants an unfriendly and brutal relationship, it will stay like that until I finish my mission which is to reconstruct the national team' the head coach stated.Marc Brys said Eto'o is enjoying support from the popular class. 'He is very powerful even though he only succeeded as a footballer.'He said the FECAFOOT president has failed in other domains. 'As a coach, as an entrepreneur, and visibly as a leader, when I look at the way he works at FECAFOOT.'Brys' first few months as the h ead coach of the Indomitable Lions have been strenuous. The conflict between the Cameroon Football Federation and the Sports Ministry, presented him with a difficult option of choosing a camp; that of the government that recruited him. This has made his job challenging just four months into his contract.Source : Cameroon News Agency
