Migori Youth Plays To Barren Draw With Modern Coast FC In The NSLRape-accused pastor apprehended at Omusati

Migori Youth FC on Sunday hosted Modern Coast FC at Migori stadium in a National Super League game that ended in a barren draw.

Both teams created goal scoring during the game chances but none was fruitful.

Migori Youth who have had a great run having won their last three games were, however, halted by the determined Mombasa-based team, who spoilt the party for the home team that ensured they collected one vital point to ensure their survival in the NSL league.

Last week, Migori Youth unveiled a new coach, Sammy Okoth, a former Shabana FC tactician to help turn the fortunes of the club.

Okoth replaced Kevin Oluoch and is tasked to help improve the team’s performance and propel the NSL team to the Kenya Premier League (KPL).

Last season the team narrowly missed being promoted to the KPL after losing the playoffs to Wazito FC (now known as Muhoroni Youths).

Migori FC currently sits in the seventh position on the NSL table after collecting 34 points from 22 games played while Modern Coast is on the red lin
e of regelation sitting just above Mulembe FC and Silibwet FC.
