Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), appeared in court on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Despite being informed of his continued detention for another year, Kanu expressed that this was not a concern for him, given his three years of imprisonment.During the court proceedings, Justice Binta Nyako, who was presiding over Kanu's case, recused herself following Kanu's declaration of a lack of confidence in her.
