The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) has established a regional office in Bungoma Town, Bungoma County.The Regional Co-coordinator for the office Mr. Willy Sigei said that the office will serve Bungoma, Vihiga, Kakamega, and Busia counties.Sigei who was talking to KNA said that the office which will be officially launched soon aims to bring services closer to the people at the grassroots level.He said that the office will monitor and ensure that all registered political parties have operational offices in various areas where they are registered for ease of reach by members of the public and leaders.Sigei said that the office has engaged stakeholders and done sensitization to members of the public and will also handle all observations and complaints raised as per the constitution.Source: Kenya News Agency
