Baba: Mohfesame Smella, popularly known as Mr. Wandoro, was arrested by government forces in Baba 1, North West region, on Monday, November 11, 2024. According to Cameroon News Agency, sources who wished to remain anonymous reported that Smella, a former Vice-Principal of GSS Vemngang and a respected community member, was taken from his home, severely tortured, and subsequently killed.Smella's body was found at his workplace, with a gun placed on it, suggesting to observers that he was a separatist fighter. However, his relatives have firmly denied these claims, insisting that he was not involved in any separatist activities. They also alleged that his Mobile Money wallet was emptied prior to his death.The incident has incited outrage among Smella's relatives and friends, who are fervently demanding justice for his murder.
