The Nakuru County Department of Health Services has acknowledged Julius Kirwa, a Healthcare Worker at Tangi Tano Dispensary at Gilgil sub-county for his outstanding and tireless service to the community.The County Executive Committee Member for Health, Ms. Roselyn Mungai commended Kirwa for his dedication to patient care and for going the extra mile of serving over 400 patients per month singlehandedly.Ms. Mungai who visited the facility today said she was impressed and inspired by how patients, young and old, flock to Tangi Tano Dispensary and have been impressed by the exceptional care and attention they receive from Kirwa and his team.She said the Department alongside the Office of the Governor are exploring ways to award exceptional County Staff like Julius Kirwa to motivate them for their diligence in service delivery.Additionally, she said when employees know their hard work is appreciated and recognized, they feel that their role is valued. And this motivates them to maintain and improve their great performance.The health executive urged other health workers to emulate Kirwa's good work so that it would have a ripple effect in all the hospitals in the county, and appreciation would be extended to improve workplace morale.Source: Kenya News Agency
