National Oil company Sonangol on Monday in Luanda denied reports circulating in some Media outlets on alleged change in the pricing formula of domestic gas.
In a press note reached ANGOP, the oil company described the reports as fake news and added that the price of the product remained unchanged.
“Sonangol informs that the price remains unchanged and warns that such information does not correspond to the truth, but merely to confuse public opinion,” the document reads out.
In its communiqué, the Angolan oil company clarifies that both the Oil Derivatives Regulatory Institute and Sonangol, a public company focused on the Exploration, Production, Refining and Marketing of Oil and its derivatives, considered any information on change of the price of gas groundless
