A horrific incident occurred early this morning in Sop Village, leaving a community in mourning. Mr. and Mrs. Mangoh George Nyako were tragically killed in their home by suspected Fulani assailants in Ndu subdivsion, North West region.Mr. Mangoh was shot with a local firearm, and his body was found covered in his blood. Mrs. Nyako sustained multiple stab wounds and was rushed to Sop Health Center, but sadly, she succumbed to her injuries.The local community is reeling from this shocking act of violence which is not the first time happening. Their bodies were taken to the mortaury in Nkambe central subdivision.After these series of attacks, the Wimbum communoty convened a peace meeting with the Mbororo community leaders and it was agreed that both settlers and natives should collaborate for peace to reign.Fresh attacks against the natives means that the peace dela fell on deaf ears.Source: Cameroon News Agency
