A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped at Aranos in the Hardap Region on Saturday, the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) has reported.
NamPol in a crime report on Thursday said the suspect allegedly took the girl to his house in the Nuwerus location and had sexual intercourse with her.
“The suspect is known to the complainant but has not yet been apprehended,” the crime report said.
Police investigations continue.
In a similar incident, a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped at Gibeon on Sunday.
The girl and suspect had been socialising with friends and while they were escorting her home, the suspect allegedly took her to his residence in !Nanseb Section, where he had sexual intercourse with her.
The suspect is known to the police but has not yet been arrested. Police investigations continue.
