Ouagadougou: The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabè Abroad, Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré took part in the evening of Tuesday July 23, 2024 in Ouagadougou, in the commemorative ceremony of the National holiday of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
A commemoration which recalls, according to the Egyptian ambassador, Sherif Abdel Kader Abdel Latif Nada, the crucial role of his country’s support for liberation movements throughout the world and especially in Africa.
He adds that the Arab Republic of Egypt has always been committed to cooperating with Burkina Faso, through multidimensional collaboration, affecting several areas including defense, security, diplomacy, justice and agriculture.
On the occasion of this ceremony, Sheriff Abdel Kader Abdel Latif Nada praised the daily efforts of the Defense and Security Forces and volunteers for the defense of the homeland, for their determination to restore the integrity of the Burkinabe territory.
At the same time, he reassures that Egypt stand
s resolutely alongside the people and authorities of Burkina Faso in the fight against terrorism.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabè Abroad in his intervention, transmitted a message of solidarity and fraternity from the President of Faso to the Egyptian people, who according to him, have been walking with Burkina Faso since the independence of this country, on the path of friendship and cooperation.
Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré described the relations between the two countries as exemplary, because they are not only based on the principle of mutual respect, but also because these relations have brought concrete results in several areas including security. and defense, professional and academic training.
It is a relationship rich in friendship and sincere cooperation. I salute the crucial role of all the actors who have always worked to strengthen cooperation between Burkina Faso and the Arab Republic of Egypt noted Minister Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré.
