The three suspects in the murder of Jennifer Mwende, a hairdresser based in Mlolongo, took pleas afresh on Wednesday at a Machakos High Court.Faith Nthemba, Phyllis Nzula, and Evelyn Wanza were charged afresh after their cases were merged.Appearing before Justice Margaret Muigai, the trio denied killing the hairdresser on August 25.They were remanded at the Machakos GK Prisons and will appear in court on November 28, when the case will be heard.The three are jointly accused of killing Mwende by strangling her and dumping the body in a pit latrine in Mlolongo town.Source: Kenya News Agency
