Two boys aged one and four years old died in a fire at Onamishu village in the Oshikoto Region on Monday.The Head of the Namibian Police Force's Crime Prevention Division in Oshikoto, Deputy Commissioner Wynand Neels, told Nampa the incident occurred around 14h00 after the children were left home alone by their parents.'It is alleged that three children between the ages of one to five were left home alone by their parents, who went to the local cucashop,' Neels said.Upon their return from the cucashop, the parents saw smoke coming from their huts and found that four of the huts were completely destroyed by the fire and two of the children were burned beyond recognition.'The five-year-old boy escaped with minor wounds on his feet and was referred to Onamishu clinic for treatment.
