The MPLA provincial committee in Lunda-Norte highlighted this Wednesday the role of the Angola Press Agency (ANGOP) in promoting Angola’s image abroad and in rescuing cultural, civic and patriotic values.
The recognition is expressed in a congratulatory message, on the occasion of ANGOP’s 49th anniversary, which is celebrated today.
The message encourages the Board of Directors and the collective of workers to continue working selflessly, patriotically fulfilling the noble mission of informing, educating, and “building an Angola of one people and one nation”.
“The Secretariat of the Executive Committee reiterates its commitment to continue to advocate with legal institutions, in the mobilization of incentives that allow the production and dissemination of plural and impartial information, keeping the population informed, about the achievements of the country and Lunda-Norte in particular”, states the message.
In turn, the provincial secretariat of the Social Renewal Party (PRS) encouraged the organizatio
n’s professionals to continue to disseminate content aimed at consolidating citizenship, peace, reconciliation and democracy.
The FNLA encouraged the organization to reinforce content that portrays the habits and customs of the people, as well as the economic potential of the region, thus contributing to the preservation of cultural values ??and attracting investments.
The government of Lunda-Norte reiterates in its letter its institutional support, so that the body can carry out, without constraints, its task, which is to inform truthfully.
