Ouagadougou: The Minister of Security, Divisional Police Commissioner, Mahamadou Sana inaugurated the 23rd Mobile Gendarmerie Squadron in HoundE, located in the Guiriko region. The inauguration took place on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the construction of this infrastructure was made possible through a collaboration between the Burkinabe State and Endeavour Mining. The project had an estimated cost of 1 billion 49 million FCFA.
